Mental Health First Aid

Introduction:

Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) is a program that equips individuals with the skills to provide initial support to those experiencing mental health crises. It aims to increase mental health literacy and reduce stigma. Participants learn to recognize common mental health disorders and offer appropriate support. MHFA training is available in various settings, including workplaces, schools, communities, and healthcare. It complements traditional mental health services and improves mental health knowledge, attitudes, and confidence in helping others.
